Essentials of Leadership - Description:
This custom-designed Leadership seminar offers practical principles of leading volunteers. Participants will discover the essential characteristics of faithful leadership including being consistent, committed and of good character. Interactive group discussion and small group activity will give your leaders opportunity to examine how to build team trust and lead as a faithful leader.
The seminar shares insight for new and seasoned leaders as they uncover how their actions can lead to motivating volunteers to do even more. From setting a vision for the team to giving positive feedback and appreciation to each volunteer, this seminar prepares team leaders to lead with as Christian leaders do. Participants receive handout of slides, interactive discussion, leadership tips, and a homework assignments to change actions immediately.
“Big Bowl”Leadership - Description:
This custom-designed Leadership seminar helps to focus boards on “the big picture.” Too often board officers of churches as well as nonprofits get caught up in the day-to-day operations without anyone looking at strategy and vision. With a very innovative approach to using mixing bowls, the seminar leader helps board officers see what is “board work” and what may need to go somewhere else. Participants will discover what the board currently spends its time doing and how to move into a more visionary leadership group. Participants receive handout of slides, interactive discussion and leadership tips.
